The Case Breaking Extension for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central automates inventory adjustments for items with multiple units of measure. When lower units like singles or six packs run out, the system automatically breaks down larger units—such as cases—to fulfill orders and keep inventory accurate. It also supports flexible pricing at each unit level, so a single item can be priced differently than a six pack or case. Configuration can be set globally or per item, making it easy to control how case breaking behaves across your inventory.
